Patient Outreach Services at Aultman Orrville Hospital

The Ohio Department of Insurance recognizes Aultman Orrville Hospital as an official Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) Site, providing valuable OSHIIP services and/or information to its community members.  Free Notary service, Medicare counseling, health screenings, community discounts and educational programs are also provided.  

A counselor for the Wayne/Holmes Rx Prescription Assistance Program is available in cooperation with the United Way of Wooster and the Orrville Area United Way.  

Diabetes education is available for both newly diagnosed diabetics and those who have had diabetes for a long time. Individual and group sessions provide education regarding foot care, signs and symptoms of hyper and hypoglycemia, medication management, insulin administration, complications of diabetes, nutritional guidelines and healthy exercise and activities for diabetics.

Additional Services within this department include smoking cessation classes, Lamaze Childbirth Education classes, SafeSitters classes, community health fairs and education programs. Aultman Orrville Hospital is a fitting station for child car seats. CPR classes are available upon request.
