Learn How to Make a Change for Life at Aultman Orrville Hospital Weight Management Info Session

by Bethany Kinnard | Dec 08, 2021
For those who want to make a positive change for a healthier lifestyle in the new year, Aultman Orrville Hospital Sports & Wellness is offering a free information session on its weight management programs on Monday, Jan. 10, at 6:30 p.m.

This session will give participants the opportunity to learn about the Healthy Lifestyles and Transformation X programs to determine which one is right for their goals.

“Unlike most weight-loss programs, the Healthy Lifestyles program helps participants lose weight and improve their health while adopting proven, successful lifestyle habits,” said Dave Speicher, supervisor, sports & wellness/weight management.
An alternative to Healthy Lifestyles program, Transformation X is a metabolic-focused program supporting body composition change through a weekly group meeting and individual training session. Through the 12-week, three-phase (IGNITE-FUEL-OVERDRIVE) program, participants will be challenged with evidence-based practice supporting sound nutrition and training to reduce body fat and metabolic age while improving strength.

“It’s exciting to watch participants make measurable improvements in their health and fitness,” said Matt Newman, registered dietitian. “And the available follow-up opportunities are a great help for those interested after completing the program.”

The information session will give an overview of the 12-week, wellness-based, food-focused programs. During the session, education will be provided on how the personalized approach to the program provides each client with the focus on the tools they need for nutrition, exercise and behavior change for long-term success.

Those who choose to enroll in either program will have access to the fitness facility, a guiding program manual and weekly personalized support with a team of healthcare professionals comprising of dietitians, exercise specialists and health coaches.
The info session will be held at Aultman Orrville Sports & Wellness, located at 365 S. Crownhill Road in Orrville. For more information or to register for the session, call 330-684-4732.
